This is the banner of the Gladstone Embroidery Guild. We had to create a banner that represented our region. So we have the harbour with the yacht signifying the race from Brisbane to Gladstone every year and the stacks of the powerhouse and the beaded wire representing the industry and the lights at night all situated on the opening of the Great Barrier Reef just of the coast of Central Queensland. All the items are embroidered by members of the Guild and Designed by myself
